Chapter One The Excape
It was a very rainy day outside and Midnight had gotten up around five AM to get ready for school. She got up and got dressed, put her stuff in her book bag, brushed her teeth and combed her hair. After that she just walked slowly to the computer and got on it to do the stuff she did everyday. She was depressed and upset just about everything this year has been the worst year ever for her. She wiped the tears from her eyes she woke up with. Even her dreams where sad and depressing, and her friends were worried about her. She didn't care she just wanted to be left alone. Tons of shit was getting her upset and when her friends asked her why and she didn't reply, they would just get mad at her. They would try and force it out of her which pissed her off more then anything in the world. Her dog, Ninja, a black lab, came over to her and put his maw on her lap. She reached her left hand down and pet his soft muzzle. He looked up at her with sad eyes trying to cheer her up, but it didn't work. She just started to cry and reached over and hugged him tightly around the neck "It's ok boy, I'll be fine, okay? Don't worry about me." She said with tears running down her face. He licked her maw and wagged his tail a bit.
Midnight let him go and rose back up and started checking her stuff like she always did. Ninja got under her chair and laid here putting his maw against her foot and licking at it once to cheer her up.
She sighed and rubbed the tears from her face "I don't want to go to school anymore." She said, looking up something for a class and just broke down crying again as she looked it up. She just couldn't stop crying. After awhile she looked at the clock and she was running late. She took the dogs out and told everyone 'good bye', kissed her mom, and left for the bus. Once she got to the bus, she pulled out some candy from her pocket and began to eat it to keep herself from crying, but she looked down with tears in her eyes, trying her hardest not to cry. She hated to cry infront of people she didn't know or like. After a while of standing there, the bus came and she got on it. She sat alone until the bus stopped and she got off of it. She stood there infront of the school not wanting to go inside. She would just get more upset. She sighed and rubbed her face and walked towards the building headed for the cafeteria. She walked in and didn't stand in line, instead she walked over to a few friends and slammed her book bag on the table. She laid her head down on it. Her two friends looked at her worried and asked her what was wrong, but she didn't reply she just sat there.
"Come on, Midnight whats wrong?" A friend of her's asked her.
"Nothing, I'm fine, I'm just tired." She said, lying, not looking up at him.
"You're not fine, come on, I know you're--" He started, but she cut him off.
"I SAID I WAS fucking FINE!" She said, pushing his tray off the table. She then laid her head back down.
He looked at her and grabbed her arm and pulled it slightly. "Calm down and tell me, please?" He asked her.
Midnight jerked her arm and was about to start crying again, but looked away, not saying anything.
"Come on, Midnight, please, you haven't talked to anyone for a while. Come on, MD, please, tell me whats wrong?" He asked her.
"Life, okay? Just leave me be." Midnight snapped at him. Then she picked up her stuff to go to the bridge with her other friends.
"Midnight, no, you'll tell us. No more being quiet." He said hotly, grabbing her arm again.
Midnight turned and punched him in the face. "I SAID NO." She yelled.
The others where shocked she hit him and backed away from her.
Midnight eyed them and turned and walked away. Great, now the principals were coming. She wasn't in the mood. She turned and walked the other way towards the doors of the outside.
The head principal grabbed her arm. She turned and bit his arm hard. He yelled out in pain, and she ran out the door towards the woods. She dropped all of her things except her coat and kepted running, tears in her eyes.
The principal followed her.
One of Midnight's friends looked down at CJ "...Guess she didn't want to talk." BC said and sighed. "She finally lost it. She couldn't take it anymore." She said sadly.
